When can I enroll in Medicare?
Your Initial Enrollment Period begins 3 months before your 65th birthday month and ends 3 months after. Annual Enrollment Period runs October 15 – December 7 each year.
What is the difference between Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage?
Part D is a standalone prescription drug plan that pairs with Original Medicare. Medicare Advantage (Part C) is an all-in-one plan from a private insurer that typically includes drug coverage plus extra benefits like dental and vision.
What is the difference between Medicare Advantage and Medigap?
Medicare Advantage replaces Original Medicare with an all-in-one plan from a private insurer. Medigap supplements Original Medicare by covering its cost-sharing gaps. The best choice depends on your health needs, budget, and preferred doctors.
Is there a cost to use your Medicare services?
No. Our services are completely free to you. We are compensated by the insurance carriers, not by our clients.
Can I switch Medicare plans every year?
Yes. During the Annual Enrollment Period (Oct 15 – Dec 7), you can switch Medicare Advantage or Part D plans. Medigap changes may require medical underwriting outside of guaranteed issue periods.
